While shopping for a garden stake that could hold my stained glass, and only finding ones that required caulk or fasteners, I asked my husband if he could build one for me that the panel could slide in the top and I could change it any ol' time I wanted to. We put our heads together and drew up a plan. The he welded it together. To this day, I still have the original one. We then took it to the local glass shop and a couple of Labrador dog shows. Many people saw it and loved it. We then went through the process of having it patented, trademarked and a copyright put on the pattern book. Since then, I have sold the Garden Window holders and glass panels to many people all over the United States. Everyone loves them and are always surprised at how well they hold up in all kinds of weather and temperatures. For people that do stained glass, they love the holder. For people who do not do stained glass, they love both the holder and the glass panels. If you see me with the Garden Window holder and glass panels, it would probably be at a Labrador Specialty Show as Labradors are one of my first loves along with stained glass.
